I've heard everything now.
We were at weston lawns today doing the shearwater 5 yr old class and a certain rider was over heard saying 'I am going to phone my hairdresser and get him to come over and cut my hair because it is sticking out under my top hat'
I am not joking. Later the judge was kind enough to speak to any competitor and talk about their horse and offer advise. We found this really useful and listened and learnt. The gentleman was a bit busy for that but arrived for his rossette in white jeans and shirt, sporting a new haircut.

Anyone want to guess who?

Anyone who is thinking of doing one of these classes , we found it very good. We went there thinking we would be outclassed but we did fine and the judge was helpful and knowledgable .It was nice to be in with the pros. and nice to feel we could compete

Ooooh CH?

I cant imagine Carl at Weston Lawns but Roland maybe. Cant imagine Richard in white jeans, horrible LOL.

What about Peter Storr?? Cant wait to find out now.

Really enjoyed it. first in and as usual the best work was outside as he just died a bit, but he was accurate and relaxed and the judge said he was as good as any there and to work on lightening the forhand to get more lift.Got 64% she liked trot alot ,canter quite good but walk needs to cover more ground.
Thought the judge was great to give out sheets and talk to every rider that wanted to know what she thought.Would recom. it, not a bit like that potential dressage thing which was like showing.

I'll pm you all with who it was

You better Pm me too because I've been sitting here wandering who it was but haven't said anything because I didn't want you to think I was dim because I could only think of one Dressage rider, well 2 if you include bbmat but I knew it wasn't him because he was too busy getting kicked...

Hey you!, that sound great and like you had a good time ,lots to work with and lots more to come.
Onwards and upwards!!!!
I think you may have just given me an idea for a new business..... a moblie pampering unit to do facials, hair cuts, reflexology etc to sooth the fevered brow of stressed competitors whilst waiting to receive copious prizes!!! Do you think it would be a good idea??

Yes ,we all need the stress relief and a good talking to when we try too hard. Some need more attention than others. I wonder what some would be like in the real world of working 40 hours and then doing your horse and family. As usual we were keen to learn and enjoyed it .I will pm you with the divas name ,so you can tell him about your new enterprise

Yes, Roland is so minted these days that he has John Frieda on speed-dial and the pilot on standby to fly him in for emergency trims at the drop of a top hat.
In fact, one of the “prima donna”'s owners' clients is a hairdresser, and, not having time even to get to the high street in the past few weeks (that’s right, you’re not the only one who’s busy), she arranged for him to get his hair cut in the lorry between classes. Oh, the glamour.
I’ve had a real chuckle at this and love News of the World-style celebrity gossip as much as the next girl, but come on, get your facts straight, the man wouldn't be seen dead in white jeans.
