Hi guys,

I'm looking for a trainer who is willing to take me and my young horse on (rising 4). I am more inclined to go down the classical route/ someone who specialises in young horses if poss? Any ideas?

I heard yesterday from my trainer that a Terry Johns is brilliant with youngsters, could ask for more info if you would like dependant on where abouts you are.

None of them , especially Paul would i describe as 'having a classical bent'.
Got very put off Paul after i rode several of his young horses ALL of which were worked in in draw reins. If you are happy with that then fine but to me its got NOTHING to do with the priniples of classical dressage.
Unfortuately this takes time as training is about the systematic progressive development of the horse. Think you sound like you need a more long term adviser/trainer to achieve the best training for you and your horse.Beware also of those that call themselves 'classical' i have seen many of them .... they are classically awful! There is no real qualification for this what you need is someone who really understands the correct principle of dressage .
Danny Pesvner trained with Nuno Olivera and spent 2years at the Spanish Riding school. Pm me if you want to know more.

I have David Trott - He is fab

He would cover your area.

PM me and I can give you his number, I would be sure to say that Nobody would have anything bad to say about David Trott.

I have a lesson booked with him tomorrow, my friend is going to video me so I will post my lesson up tomorrow.

I am not sure on Paul Friday, he is ok, but I have heard some funny things about that guy.

Henry Boswell is based at Radway he is quite good too.

Thank you, i am based in stretton on dunsmore near coventry, time period really isn't an issue as she is a lifetime horse, thanks for the replys!
