Well, I have took the plunge and went and collected a dressage saddle. I can take it back if it doesn`t fit.
Well, it does look a bit strange, but I didn`t put a saddle cloth or stirrups on. I am riding in it tomorrow. It sits ok on her, level about 2 inches either side of her spine and there is no gaps. But I have the blue gullet in whereas in my GP I have the black one in.
The girl in shop said that a dressage saddle may need the next size up to usual. Is this correct?
It is the Wintec 500. Does it sit further back than the GP?
It always feels wierd when trying a new saddle esp when no saddle cloth. Does anyone have any info on these saddles? Do you think they are comfy or is there any better ones?
