Hello

Ive never owned a dressage saddle so please bear with me...

It has long girth straps, so can I use a normal long girth or do I need to have a dressage girth... how do I measure for abdressage girth..

Only ask as how do you reach to do up the straps if theyre so low down... images of myself swinging round poor horse to reach.

Than you

Yes if it has long straps you will need a short girth. Neoprene ones like this are very popular as they are easy to wash and tend not to rub http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stubben-Dressage-Girth-24-60cm-/370918650518

What size long girth does your horse take?

To do it up you just lean forwards and down. It's easier if the horse will stand still but otherwise it's not as hard as you'd think on the move. Some of the kieffer neoprene girths have rubber bands to help guide the buckle into the hole.
