I have a really nice Isabell with cair - but is a tad long for my boy. I think the smallest they do is s a 16.5? Does anyone know if this is true?

Or can you recommend a nice saddle - I do like the fact that the Isabel hold you in the seat - and also need a bit of knee roll/block.

Would swap 17.5 brown isabell with cair for similar but smaller 16 - 16.5????

The Derby House Kentucky is the most supportive comfortable saddle Ive ever rode in. Sadly they dont fit my horse so I had to pay twice as much for something I dont like

I really love the Fhoenix Vogue Dressage saddle and find it very supportive and extremely comfortable

Ditto this; I had a lesson in one yesterday and I found sitting trot really easy

I'm usually useless! I will deffinatly be buying one for my youngster now.

They make them in a 16'' but you may find that a 17'' would be ok anyway. http://www.fhoenix-saddles.com/vogue.php

Scottish_Miss - yes they are, although they call them 'SoftTree' to differentiate them from 'normal' treeless saddles. They have a leather tree, so they do have some structure to them - they are very flexible, but they also feel like a normal treed saddle as the twist is really narrow (but they are a lot more comfy as they have a memory foam seat and things!). The difference in my horse is absolutely amazing as well as it has totally freed up her shoulders. I have tried various other 'treeless' saddles and these just aren't in the same league IMO! They also have adjustable knee blocks which are great and they look pretty 'normal' too!
