As i have recently ordered a new dressage saddle (i am so excitied) i think i need to get a nice new saddlecloth to go under it...... so any recomendations?

The one i really want must has just small velcro tag/strap at the top to thread through the 'fall downs' (little metal rings) as my new saddle has large knee blocks with strapping configuration that wouldn't allow tag/strap to loop round first strap - if you know what i mean!?!?
Anyone know who makes these???

Many thanks

Got to be Nuhmed. They are my favourite, and I have a whole collection of them: brown and black for everyday and white for shows. They do do one with small straps at the top for D-rings.

I like the half sheepskin ones, but I also have the ones without sheepskin for if it's very hot weather.

Mattes are also very good. But I think they're more expensive.

do you have any photo's of your's in use so i can judge whether to have standard or large???? don't want to cover up too much of Budsie pretty grey bits!?!

this is Bud in 1650 standard size saddle with current square on - i have no idea of make and size of but think looks bit too small (not sure if it's even a dressage square!!)

Ive just got a Mark Todd one for everyday, and it is divine forthe money!! Is soft bruched cotton next to the horse, and small cotton squares, fits well, and all for 16.50!

ETS - i think this may be the standard size as it was Lottie, i think Mouse needs a large really her saddle is a 17.5 inch but has got quite short flaps .

i really want one with the little D ring tags and no sheepy skin - as my saddle will fit perfectly and i don't want anything extra between my bum and him or my signals may get muffled - i have a job getting through to him as it is!!!!
