Dressage Saddlecloth

Could someone recommend a good white dressage saddlecloth? I need one for my new dressage saddle (only ever used GPs before!) and there are so many to choose from I don't know what's good and what's not! Ideally something under £60, but obviously the cheaper the better. However, I want it to look smart enough for affiliated competitions (ie. no big logos/fancy trims!), wash well and not cause my horse to overheat in the summer.

Have heard the Anky ones are good, but the logo puts me off as I don't think they look smart enough. Anyone tried the Eskadron or Passier ones? Or what else do people recommend? Thanks
 
me too hkm - i have 3 off that lady off ebay - fantastic quality, wash so well - lovely shape and fit right up into pommel. they the only ones i will ever buy now - i have the ones with the trim round too - look very smart

Yes, I have the ones with the trim - they are gorgeous. Sadly, because they are so reasonable, I have now bought at least 9 aside from my white ones, some of the colours are just fab

Numed Numed Numed with our without wool, especially becuase I really want a fishtails one they look ace!!!

Seriously bought my first one last year with half wool as they make your saddle sit really nice and still (have a round cob with one big sholder and its allways inclined to slip) and would never buy anything else now - with or without wool!!!
 
I like the plain Nu-med ones. They are high withered and also raised slightly over the backbone behind the saddle which saves any rubbing. They wash well.
 
sirena - 9 really - i must admit they do have amazing range of colours - i wanted to get some more but was able to resist the temptation -........ may just go have another look at colours lol.

I use the Nuumed Hi-Wither ones, because they fit my pony best. He's a very muddy sort of chap, so they get washed a lot, and seem to come out clean.
 
I'm going to go against the grain and say that I find the HKM ones with trim do not wash well. But then when they are cheap so you don't mind replacing them.
I have the Eskadron special dressage (or something like that) and that washed up well.
All of my others are half wool Nuumed hi-wither.

I have a black jumping Le Mieux one and a white dressage one both with half sheepskin lining, they are lovely. But VERY expensive, think they were around £80 each which is a lot for a bit of fabric!!

They are lovely and they wash well.
 
Another vote for HKM, great quality. I have a rainbow of them LOL! I tend to think if your saddle fits properly all you really need is a good quality cotton saddlecloth, although the Le Mieux sheepskin lined ones are stunning and gorgeous. For competition I have a Passier flexipad, which looks super smart but I feel is almost too bulky under the saddle.
 
I Love HKM, there the only saddlecloths that look normal on Pickle's big saddle and don't pinch at the wither like some smaller ones do with his 18.5" saddle.

Love them, Every year at Hickstead I buy a at least 1! I have loads now

and still have all the ones I bought years ago.
 
Hi wither Nu-med are brill and are £26. they do a new quilt as well which is slightly tougher. I also use Eskadron, which after 2 years and used on all 3 horses are still looking good and apart from where the girth straps sit arnt marked
