Dressage saddles

Just thought I would ask if anyone else ever has the feeling that they suddenly can't ride properly when they ride in a dressage saddle after using a jumping saddle for months , .... or is it me just being crap (you can be honest

!)

Just back from riding and using my dressage saddle for the first time in months and suddenly I am unable to do sitting trot

gripping up all over

- and before you say... I did not drop my stirrups by more than a hole or 2 so I can't use that as an excuse !

I bet you next time you get back in it you will be fine.

I have always ridden in a jump saddle and have recently bought a dressage saddle (shock horror) i couldnt ride in it at all!!! But 2nd time sitting in it i was fine! Now a real dressage rider with long stirrups and everything (yet no bling- im not going to resort to that!).

, will let you know if it is better tomorrow, .... good move with the bling... can't bring myself to have anything that sparkles try to keep it simple and cool, though perhaps in my case at the moment some bling might distract the eye from the rider

See my mare does a good job at distracting from the rider as she bucks and rears around a dressage arena! Great fun
