just wondering what any of your thoughts are on the best types of dressage saddles. i’ve got a Wintec one at the moment and it’s in great condition but looking to buy a new one as the wintec brand isn’t the best? that’s what i’ve heard anyway.

Thanks

Hiya, if you have a Connie there's a high chance it's not the best fit you could get. Wintec are okay, like most saddles, if they fit your horse, and you.

The best type of dressage saddle? The one that fits you and your horse or pony. Do you have a good saddle fitter you can work with? And if you have a Connie, one that works a lot with these shapes, and may stock the right seat sizes (as they're often short backed)?

After that, that being the most important, then I would recommend a traditional wooden tree for a Connie in most cases, and fit for stability, with their flatter backs many saddles just don't have the right shaped tree to give that. And what you can go for will massively depend on budget.

Thank you that’s really helpful :)
