I have been looking for some time now for a horse for loan who is a been there done it type, i only want to compete at prelim/ novice level, maybe BD, but i just can't seem to find anything! Ive tried HorseQuest, Horsedeals, horsemart etc has anyone got any ideas of where to look or advertise, ive been told by loads of people that there's always loads of horses for loan at this time of year, where are they all?!
 
lol, you want my mare!!! I loaned her out a few years ago when I was pregnant for about 18 months so they are available sometimes! My mare pretty much taught a happy hacker to do dressage! Sorry she's not available now though! I will keep my ears and eyes open for you though...... What age, height would you consider????
 
Have you tried posting on BD forum? I am the opposite as currently looking for someone like you for my horse on a part loan basis with lessons, but he must stay with me. Shame you're not closer!
 
Im looking for something around 16hh, and nothing too young, about 10yrs upwards. Would prefer a gelding, although don't think i would be too fussy if the right horse came along!

This fabulous gentleman has competed in all riding club activities and more recently been working at Medium level dressage (won Area 14 Medium R.C.)

Laid back attitude, does not need riding every day. Good to hack but does not like heavy traffic. Forward going in the school and over fences.

Loves to jump, hunt, and XC, but has recently formed a large splint so is only working on the flat/soft at present.

No vices, good to clip, shoe, load etc. Same home for 9 years so looking for 5* home to loan with possible view to sell if correct home found
