Hello All, jumped on here for some advice really. I'm looking at putting my mare in foal hopefully this year but worst case, next year. I'm looking at stallions and getting a bit overwhelmed and would like to hear experiences from anyone that can help.
My mare is Graftenstolz x Hand In Glove so eventing bred but she was much more suited to the dressage life as her jumping ability left a little to be desired which I was more than happy about.
She's a great mover although canter lacks a little power if I was to pick anything out. She's correct and straight when she moves and has the most wonderful brain.
So I need an uphill stallion and something that can really move. I'd love something that could have potential to jump but dressage is the way I'm leaning as it would be for myself.
So far I like Lord Leatherdale and Contendro. Two very different horses, which is why I seek some help. TIA
