Does anyone else have anything by Faberge????

I'd love some more info about him as a sire but am struggling to find any. There seem to be hardly any photos/video of him anywhere.

I have a yearling filly by him who was the funniest looking foal (looked more like a lama) but is blossoming into a lovely looking youngster (see Fabulous in signature below) with the best nature of any horse I've known. She seems to be growing very slowly though so I'm also wondering if he throws small progeny? She is out of a Rubels mare so small size not accounted for by that.

Any comments/opinions/photos welcome!

If you are talking about the KWPN/NRPS Stallion "Rubels" then he was small (only 1.66m) and most his offspring are on the small side, so it could quite easily come from him. I saw him ridden by Hans Peter and he made Rubels look very small.

Faberge isn't the biggest and like others have said probably not much bigger than 16.hh but moves beautifully and has good conformation albeit his size. Drop me a pm if you prefer as I had a couple of babies from him with me this year.

the Fidermark bloodline is really nice in terms of movement and 'type' but having seen a lot of the bloodline in germany i would say that it is not a big bloodline, nothing much over 16.2hh. Rubels[ KWPN] was small so you are probably looking at a 16hh horse.

Fidermark is known for throwing small. One of the reasons he wsnt as popular as he should have been in Germany initially. However the quality of his initial foal crops soon made breeders take note. It's also a sire line noted for producing chunky little powerhouses, so Faberge would fit that stamp.
