Lol I thought it was oddly worded... I do think it's a bit off that Cdj gets an OBE while CH et al just get MBEs though!

I am a bit saddned to see Lee Pearson is being quoted as saying he deserves a Knighthood on the BBC news feed! Honours are given, not earned as a right and if you do feel aggrieved best to keep it to yourself.

I've just seen the Pearson story and to be honest I think the man is an arrogant twonk! Surely being picked for the team is honour enough let alone winning medals? I don't think he deserves any honour let alone a Knighthood after the way he behaved at the Paralympics! Criticizing a judge saying that he had been deliberately marked down so he couldn't win - he is a sore loser. Yes he may be disabled but that doesn't give any right what so ever to demand this that and everything be given to him just because.
