Just wondered if anyone had any tips for doing a good dressage test. What the judges are looking for etc. Have done a couple but haven't got great marks so wondered if anyone had any wise words? Thanks

i have learned that you have to try for every single mark so if says change the rein think about it dnt just change the rein think they have to have an active hind leg and he soft and moving forward into the contact also if ur changing from the left rein to the right have left bend until a few metres from the end of the arena and then change it...

i generally pull a dressage test apart like i am doing a single movement each time and both times i have been and done dressage recently i have had over 70% in eventing that is lol hope this helps a bit

Accuracy!!! The amount of people who throw away marks by being early or late with transitions, & by circles being poorly centred or the wrong size etc is unbelievable, and fairly easy to avoid.

However the very best tip is to relax & enjoy it!!!
