Dressage to music gala at Hand E.C.

it was really good, lots of gorgeous horses there, i cant remember the name of the lady who won, but she was the last one to perform i think and she trained regularly with one of the judges
i wanted a different horse to win, i thought she was good but not the best. some money was raised towards children in need too which was good, it was so cold and it went on till quite late, but it was worth going, really enjoyed seeing some of the most amazing partnerships with horse and rider

Yip, it was a brilliant event

Lisa White won as Mat_b said. I liked her performance but voted for someone else. There were some really fun ideas and some seriously hot competition!
And it was really busy too.

I hope they made lots of money for the charities.

I went and really enjoyed it. Alot of time had been put into the tests and some of the costumes where fab. I personally like the horse that came through from the afternoon session and got the wildcard entry into the evening performance.

Not sure about the winner tho - little too professional in my opinion for that particular competition - NZ olympic team??!!

My sister went and watched. She said that they had too many acts, and as it went on so late loads of people left before the auction started.

One of the horses was also very lame apparently.

Agree, did go on for a long time, I didn't get home until 12.45, but the M4 slip road being closed didn't help!

Yep, one of the horses was a bit "unlevel" at times - didn't seem to matter though?!

It was a late night that was for sure! They should have put the auction on before or at the interval as people were probably a bit cold to get enthused about it.

It was a really good event though
