Hi there,
I was having a think to myself and I was wondering how do you go about making up a "Dressage to music" CD these days.

The last time I did this was 13 years a go. At the time you did not need a licence and it was some dodgy compilation ran off of a tape to tape recorder. (Heheheheee) I felt quite flash at the time as I knew someone who had a set up that could fade in and fade out the music between gait changes.

If I was thinking of doing this again. What is the simplest way to make an effective music CD? (I would imagine the standard has improved a lot)!!

Yes I think it has my daughter is still using my old one from about 15 years ago it was made by Alison Fellows. She did qualify yesterday but the music mark needs to be better as the tape wasn't made for him.
I now plan to choose a floor plan and listen to alot of music while watching it and get a pro. to do the tape as it will need to fit better for the regionals to stand a chance

Go to Equissentials & purchase the 'Dressage Divas' CD ROM, or ask your local riding club admin to help you!!!

I do mine on windows movie maker. I just stay down one night and beat my computer with a kipper til I had worked out how to do it, took me a few more days to get it sorted but its easy once you can work the program.

If you want some more help I can give you a few tips if you have that program on your computer

There was a double page article on DTM in the Riding Clubs Magazine earlier this year. It didn't go into the technicalities of compiling routines in any great depth, but did mention a few products that could be used if you want to try doing it yourself.
