took my new horse to local RC dressage today. It was her first test on grass and 2nd test ever, she was a little bit nappy towards the trailers in the last one (last week) but still got 62.61%, this week she warmed up ok, was just in a HUGE field was slightly nappy, kept disuniting in canter when we were one circle near the trailers but we go over it.
Took her into the 'arena'

up centre line track right (toward trailers) between C and M she just planted wouldnt go forwards or anything. so turned her onto the left rein and started the test (prelim 18) just missing out the first 2 bits. Then went on to do a nice test and came 6th!

Now will she get over this and is the best way to just keep taking her out? I always warm her up always warm her up away from everything else and shes ok, its just getting over the napping!!

I think she will get better the more you take her out. My horse is wonderful at home but when we took him out he goes round like a giraffe and so so spooky.
