Hi...
I am a former PSG / Inter I rider from Australia who moved to the UK 10 years ago, and since then I've been way out of the horse industry (having concentrated on getting 'real' career much to my annoyance!)
I now looking to buy a small property so I can buy my next young dressage horse, however until that happens I would like to get back into the sport by having regular lessons. The only issue is - I don't yet own a horse to have the lessons on and don't really plan on buying one until we are settled in a new property, so I am essentially trying to find a trainer who would consider giving lessons on one of their own horses.
Although I've ridden at FEI level and was a qualified coach and dressage judge in Aus I know I need to get back to the basics to redevelop my feel (and fitness!)... hence wanting to get back to this before buying a horse.
I don't even know if this is something many trainers do - or if it's only riding schools who give lessons on their horses?
Anyone who has any advice / thoughts would be greatly appreciated! If you know any trainers who offer this I am based South Cheshire / North Wales border....
