ok, I want to get plaiting down to a T but alas I know I am no good when I am rushing ( which is most of the time!!) so I am ever so "not this season" and still use white tape( hides a multitude of sins!!) BUT I saw the remains of someone elses tape at the weeked and it was made from plastic which just "sprung" into place... I want some.

Hmm I bought some and have never used them, I played with them but they weren't very secure!!! With tape you can bind it round and hold everything in place!!! With these they looked a bit odd. I would think they would be ok if you had a horse with hardly any hair!!!! Also they are quite fidly to get on they spring and curl up all over the place and usually end up flying across the yard!!! I can't remember what they were called something like band-its lol, they aren't too expensive though!

Stick to tape! The plastic bands dont look right as they curl up wrong and stick out. They also spring off.
I once used them when I was groming for my instructor and I spent the entire time putting them back on after they popped off.

Oh no.. I thought I could be lazy and cheat...... no wonder we saw a few on the floor in the stable block the weekend, they had probably popped off too!!!
