How lovely is this test? (and is there no end to this woman's talents?!)

Nice to see her talking to her horse and settling him before they enter too. She's awesome. I so enjoyed her masterclass at Wellington a few years back.

Beautiful test! What a happy horse and fantastic riding. The horse is so on the aids, but happy to halt and walk and really trusts Ingrid.

How nice it was so see the soothing words she gave to the horse before they entered the arena and the music was spot on.

Watched it yesterday morning and was blown away. Not bad for an eventer

She grew up with top class dressage. I'm old enough to remember her father Reiner Klimke (sp?) riding Alerich (sp?). He was brilliant.

Not surprised that she could produce a lovely test like that.

Her Father Reiner rode to the classical principles, with the poll being the highest point and the nose slightly in front of the vertical. Check him out on YouTube. I too am ancient enough to have watched him at various Olympics. I think that currently there is a shift toward the more classical frame in competition, which is pleasing to see. I dislike seeing overbent horses!

I am also ancient enough to remember seeing him on alheric at Wembley , I was quite young and was mesmerised and never forgot it. Ingrid has an amazing rapport with all of her horses, she just used to scare me how fast she went on cross country rounds
