dressage

erm, like you know thy get a score, how will they get the maxium score from these.. im finding this difficult its for my assignment but need help

how is the gait, rhythm, balance and impulsion judged in a dressage test?
(novice )
thank you

They get a mark at the end, in the collectives.

They are also marked in each movement; you cannot get a good mark if you do not have the above things (except gait - this is not marked as every horse can walk/trot/canter).

10 is excellent, 9 is very good, 8 is good, 7 fairly good, etc.

Hi yeah the impulsion and willingness to go faward is judged on how engaged the hindquaters are and how foward ( But musnt be running on) and to gain marks where some people loose them is to be accurate, on your markers all the time this can pick up marks where you may loose them if your horse dosent have a brilliant gait ie. not the best walk where he dosent totaly track up :)
