okay so took my pony, dillan (14.2hh believed to be gypsy vanner x ISH, bought from travellers who only trained him to cart, brung on can now jump 1m30 and is a complete doll) to a dressage contest he seemed to go shockingly went on the wrong canter lead on one leg so had to change it, and dropped out of canter on the other leg. But i came out with a score of 64.5%, is that good for a prelim 7 dressage test as don't do lower level much and haven't really done dressage on a cob before,
any help would be great :)

64.5% isn't a disgraceful result, as you should know if you're competing at a higher level. I know some people who are thrilled to hit 60%. What level do you normally compete at? :)

Well done on your first outing with him.

(P.S. - any chance you could make your sig a bit smaller? It's messing up my screen as it's humungous!! :) )

I think that's a good result, especially for your first test :)

Dressage is strange in that one day 64.5% could put you in the lead, another day it could leave you unplaced as some dressage judges are very kind and will give everything a 7 or a 8 and some judges will be harsh and give everything a 4 or a 5!

I've had some scores that would have been impressive eventing, not dressage!

Have to agree about your sig, it's messing up my screen too!
