Wondering if anyone has done this and would you recommend this?

Never done a dressage competition before and it sounds good as seems less pressure plus my loan horse doesn't currently load :p

I've done quite a few dressage anywhere tests and they are great fun- you get loads of feedback which is really positive :) You don't need to wear any special tack/clothing- just BD legal bit and normal riding attire! It's definitely less pressure than a 'real' show and if all goes totally wrong you can just start again :)

Ooh I've just signed up to this only doing intro a as this will be our first attempt at anything without any pressure. If all goes well we will brave a pubic outing.
Good luck x

Did I read correctly that you need boots or bandages on to prove that the test hasn't been judged elsewhere?? Good luck darcydoo:)

I do this regularly, it's really good fun! Tests get judged really quickly, you get detailed comments back and you can usually see the other tests in your class which is very interesting.

You do not need to wear boots/bandages unless you want to be in full BD gear.

The daughters just registered :) we haven't got transport at the mo & she's dying to do something on the new horse so it sounds ideal for her! Hopefully Im going to film her first test next week :)

You only need to wear boots/bandages if you wear show gear to prove that it isn't a video from a 'real' competition, other than that you can wear anything tidy xx
