I havent actually measured him but I was looking at him today and I could swear his bum is higher than his withers.

So if you bear in mind he is just 6 and ISH with a poor top line and muscle is beginning to build then how big will he be the ad last year called him 16.1hh but he was never that last time I measured him he was 16.3 and a bit and that was in march.
This was last August with a friend holding him the day he arrived.

Thanks Slinky he is due to be shod today perhaps the Farrier can bring him back down.

He is developing into a lovely person (horse ?) its hard to remember sometimes when you see changes creep in. Last year he was a monster at feed times and I kept out of his way in the stable and now I muck out around him move his bucket if he is chewing over poo.

He leads in and out of the field like a dream and is the pefect gent on the yard. Every day I try and find something new to challenge him.

I am still waiting for my saddler to check his saddle as its fit concerns me so I have been doing a lot of lungeing and playing on a lunge line with him. He has a very biddable attitude so once I get my saddle sorted I can start working towards my jumping again.
