My friend has a milestone birthday soon and has recently started having driving lessons. I thought of buying her something do so with driving but I don't know much about this discipline. Any ideas or inspiration please? A nice pair of driving gloves perhaps?

I would go for nice (BROWN) driving gloves, or a nice apron in a green/navy colour (£35-50ish) Does she have her own driving horse? If you REALLY want to spend money (£150+) you could get her a lovely whip. Pony & Carriage have Willow whips for £85ish, and Holly (oh I wish) for £250ish. If you're going carbon fibre (great for home and marathon driving, not for show driving) the Fleck whips are good.

Gloves are tricky because of sizing, but you want the softest leather imaginable, nice and fine, and with a good deep cuff. I wish I could remember the make of my lovely gloves now! The SSG Deerskin ones are a good basic glove though. Jack in a Box is worth a look too.

Thanks people. She doesn't have a driving pony yet but it's on the shopping list! I'm sure I'll be roped into that search! LOL :D

Recommendations always better than me making a error. I'll look at aprons and gloves I think. :)
