I will be coming for the XC day from Hants with Three over-excited 7 year old girls and will be leaving super early to attempt to cover for all eventualities and wondered if you could help. Every year Ive been so far, Ive been more organised than this and had my tickets well in advance. This year I have nothing in advance. Is it a seperate queue, much longer, etc?

No, just make sure you get there early, we used to try and get there by 7.30am-8am - no queue, straight through even without a ticket - have a fab day :)

I am smiling, because when we have been Badminton, Burghley or Bramham it has been on a whim and we have just turned up. The queue just adds to the excitement!!!!

(although, to be fair it is just me and OH, no excited 7yo's).

Last year I forgot to get a parking ticket so we had to go the slightly longer route, but I'm not sure it was that much more waiting time - we were just parked further away.
Then again we did get in at around 9-ish and we were parked by 10 so it was busy anyway. Though it's a 6 hour round trip for us and I refuse to get up any earlier than that especially as I'm the one driving! This time I've got everything we need so hopefully will be a tad quicker...hrmmm we'll see.

Sorry to hijack thread, I've got my sisters car pass and I think I should have directions with it. I assume signs will say advance ticket holders or something like that?

I'm so excited this is the first time I've been!!! Think we are going to have to get up super early too as it'll take us a good couple of hours and in spite of me nagging husband didn't prebook tickets.

Get there early but don't head for the main car parks. We always park in the Luckington Lane car park which is down at the Vicarage V end of the course http://i.thisis.co.uk/274696/binaries/BadmintonCourseMap1000.jpg
You need to arrive via the B4040. Its so much quicker getting in and out of here even if you're journey gets a bit delayed, its only a 20 main walk up to the trade stands and main arena, quicker if you arrive early. Don't forget its cash only on the gate! Have fun, love Badminton, can't wait till Saturday!
