Driving trial report

That looks and sounds completely amazing - well done.
And are you sure that is Bobbi? Bobbi is a small hairy thing, no? So where did that sleek professional pony come from? Fantastic - well done!
Do you come to AShfields at all? I stewarded there one year.

Shes changed so much even I look twice sometimes! I might next year, its coming to the end of the outdoor season now. I think Rara is there quite a bit. Osberton are running a really late event in October this year that I'm eyeing up, but only if I can sleep in a hotel. I am not camping in a field in October!

Sister and I are swithering about going to Osberton, think it's really nice they're running driving alongside. Bede are really keen on that, it was Stuart buntine that organised for the drivers to be at Hopetoun for the Olympic torch relay and also to do a world cup style event there during the eventing.
Might be the thing that swings us going!

Part of the reason I enjoy it so much is the atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly and supportive. When Bobbie was first broken and we went out to our fist competition we got a standing ovation from everyone for making it back. I didnt really know anyone at this event but people went out of their way to help me, even coming over to say how well something had gone or how much we looked like we had enjoyed it etc. it just makes the whole thing a pleasure. Its very different from other horsey stuff I have done!

Fantastic report, and a very entertaining read it was too!
It sounds like a fantastic event for various reasons and looks well run and I ook forward to reading more of your adventures in the future.

Incredibly well done. I go and help a driver at competitions sometimes so I know what is involved, so you have done wonderfully.
It is good that she can change her paces (no excuses now in the dressage) but being able to work out where to go through the obstacles is so hard, and cones is what very many people struggle with. I hope you are able to keep going to competitions you sound like a formidable combination - not forgetting your backstopper too.

Thank you. My backstep is a legend. He does it internationally so I am very grateful when he helps me out. He is literally the coolest dude on the planet. Never gets ruffled or upset and never throttles me when I ignore him. What more could you ask for!, 😁

The pro pics have been posted and I bought these ones. They sum it up perfectly. Pretty bemused and a little bit suspicious but perfectly happy to give whatever I ask of her a go 😁 her expression as she's trotting past the spectators totally cracks me up 😂😂Screenshot_20190811_210156.jpgScreenshot_20190811_210123.jpg
