Have been asked a question and I don't know the answer so thought I'd ask you lot.
The yard up the road has some small dogs and a VERY large Tom cat, she asked if she could worm the cat with dog worker? I don't know if its a different chemical or just the dose. Anyone know?

I would say it would be pretty risky. Cats can be very susceptible to problems from certain drugs. I would suggest the yard owner errs on the side of caution and gets a specific cat wormer. You can get spot ons now for both tape and roundworm (although one does require a prescription), which is far easier than trying to get tablets down the average cat.
