drop noseband and running martingale

Is it OK to use a running martingale with a drop noseband? I read that a standing martingale is a problem as it can cut off a horse's breathing. I only need a running for hacking and it only comes into play once in a very rare while when Rusky decides that taking off might be an option!

yep absolutely fine as the action of a running martingale is on the reins and not the nose.

Yeh drop and running martingale are fine. If you use a standing martingale then you need to attach it to a cavesson, so a flash would be better to use.
