Dropped a tick in the garden!

Just removed a tick from my dogs ear, and before i had time to wrap it in paper it was knocked flying! Ive looked for it, but its a big garden so it could be anywhere It didn't seem alive when i removed it, and i've cut the grass in the hope of it getting caught in the blades, but is there anything else i can do? I don't want her picking it up again

Just dose your dog with front line and if it picks it up again the tick will die.

Ticks are very common in dogs. If I were you I would try and mow the lawn. There must be tons of ticks in there.
