So there is a slider on the towbar of the car I tow with and currently the tow ball is bolted to the top setting of it. Ideally I reckon it needs dropping down to the bottom as trailer is a little nose high when loaded.

It's only a case of undoing two bolts, moving it, and doing them back up but obviously there is a lot of weight resting on said bolts so do I get OH to do it or do I get someone else involved? If it's a job for someone else who do I go to? Just a regular mechanic or do I need a specialist?

I've eaten all the lunch I'm afraid so nothing to offer :(

No need for a specialist

I suggest both you and OH do it together - 2 brains are better that one - unless you argue over eveything :D

the actual weight distribution should hardly change but if it rides better then do it

I can just imagine the conversation you have with your OH ....

Darling, I need your help to drop a ball ..... and then when it's dropped we can get hitched .... :D
