drowned Rat & bl**dy little frogs!!!

went down to do evening stables a little earlier today due to the bad weather/small children combo (OH isnt home tonight) & found my section A doing a very good impression of a drowned rat, soaked to the skin & shivering, seems the silly twit chose to eat rather than take shelter under the huge selection of trees & hedges.

ive taken pity on him & brought him in for night got into yard & its full of baby frogs from the pond who are loving the puddles trouble is one of them jumps & so does he. Has anyone EVER tried to dry off & put a rug on a pogo pony? its difficult to say the least.

Dim welsh donkey that he is good job i loves him so much.

lol, can just picture it. Damn little natives, thinking more about their bellies and oblivious to everything else. My highland used to munch in the middle of a storm while everything else was huddled together looking miserable.

Can just imagine the fun of rugging a pogo pony.

I get those baby frogs (and sometimes full grown ones) too! Some times they hop in to my woodpellet bedding and blend in so being a bit soft I spend ages picking them out so ponies don't stomp on them!

I really hope there aren't any in his stable Finding frogs that have been stood on when you are mucking out is not pleasant!

lol, im not so worried about finding squashed frogs as just imaging the pogo impressions all night from SWA.
