Hi,
I would appreciate some advice -
I am on a yard where most of the clients are full livery, due to their work commitments the owners are only down once or twice a week in the evening.
I am on DIY so I am down at the yard most of the time.
It has become really obvious to me that the yard owner is often drunk to the point of being legless in the afternoons. She will go to the pub at about two, come back at four (v drunk) bring the full livery horses in then go to her onsite house at about half five before the liveries arrive. She is then gone for the night.
One afternoon this week she came back from the pub and was talking to me whilst leading a clients horse and I could not understand a word she said. On other occasions she has been so drunk it takes her a couple of attempts to undo headcollars or grab lead ropes.
What can I do? She is handling clients horses in a total state but no one else is about to see it. She is driving back from the pub drunk.
I have approached one of the full livery clients about it but I'm not sure she realises quite how drunk the yard owner is.
What can I do? HELP....
