I just got a pair of Tailored Sportsman breeches in the post from the US Ebay. Always wanted a pair but could never afford any when I was a student in Canada so I decided to treat myself to a nice rust colored pair to go under my rust colored side saddle apron as an early 33rd birthday prezzie for me next month.
Anyways they are um, VERY snug. I didn't anticipate how non stretch they would be and glad I got the next size up! It says dry clean only on them as they are made from rayon and nylon and the knee patches are goat skin but would you chance hand washing them in say a Woolite type of detergent? I don't want them to shrink anymore than what they are as they just barely fit me.
My dry cleaners isn't that expensive and reckon I could get a few wearings out of them due to the rust color before I had to get them cleaned though.
