Dry flaky skin above eyes

My horse has developed dry flaky skin above both his eyes on his eyelids.

Can anyone suggest what this might be? Or what I can do?

I can't put anything on it as it is very close to his eyes

I started him on a balancer yesterday so maybe that will help it clear up by itself?

My horse got this, he also had it on his chin. I think its from all the wet weather, has he been out a lot? I just put some vasaline on it and it seems better

My two have too...I've just been putting a touch of wonder gel on it x

My TB has too, I've just put it down to the weather and the usual winter skin issues.

Yes he is out 24/7

Thanks, I will try a bit of vaseline! - That shouldn't sting his eyes if he rubs it
