Have coloured horse at yard with no running water!! Are there any good brush on shampoos available. Off to Badminton Saturday so can buy something hopefully. Has any one got a Dirt buster or is it Mudbuster??? Power washer that plugs in to your ciggie lighter in car? Any good??

I use a dry shampoo which is a liquid you squirt on then rub off with a towel, its superb but cant for the life of me remember its name, its in a clear bottle but the liquid is white and it has a picture of a horse's head on the bottle with a fly spray type lid, they also do a coat shine as per description but liquid is pink! I use it a couple of days before clipping in the winter and the clippers glide through as if the horses have been bathed regularly.

I used one last summer that was good- think it was Gold Label. Just spray on then rub off with a towel. I used it on some particularly grimy feathers for a class the pony needed to look extra smart for- I added a bit of chalk after, and that leg is gleaming white in the photos!
