hi can anyone help me my horse tilly has dry skin on her back legs, i have bin applying sudacrem, any one have any better ideas, thanks gemzo

It depends whats causing the dry skin really, but I would have thought Sudacrem like you've been using or Camrosa. What do you think is causing this could it be an allergy?

Is it itchy and flaky? If so, especially if she has feathers, it could be mites. In which case I use Frontline (large spray bottles from vets) meant for cats and dogs to treat fleas but that's the only thing - apart from cattle wormer injections! - that works for my Gypsy Vanner.

it old scars from cuts her legs near her shins and it just has gone realy dry and you can rub the hair out easy it not a lot and i am not worried just wonderd if there was any potion better than sudacrem, thanks gemzo x

a couple of the horses at our yards legs were a bit like that - they just needed a good old brush with a rubber curry to remove the old hair and grease and now they are fine
