DSMO - does it work?

We used DMSO religiously on a splint and it didn't seem to do any good at all. When we stopped using it and turned the horse away, the splint disappeared, but as soon as we worked him again it re-appeared. We are now trying splintex in the hope that might help. TBH I don't think there is anything that really works, otherwise the inventor would be a millionaire and everyone would be using it.
 
i use DMSO on splints and it has worked very well on numerous horses.

i tried that splintex stuff and i may as well have painted on water for all the good it did!
