with the quilted gortex?

I love them but want to know if they will get trashed after a week on my yard! Can you ride in them? Do you think they are worth the money?

I havn't got the quilted ones but I have got the Galways. I've only had them since Burghley (August) and can't bring myself to wear them down the yard yet LOL I wear them out though and I totally love them. They are really comfy, very warm and you can ride in them. I think that i will wear them this winter 'out' and down the yard from next winter LOL

I don't have the quilted ones, I have the Galways. I LOVE them, I LIVE in them! However, the right foot has sprung a leak at the toe (not visible, but soggy sock tells me the boot's leaking!) and they are going back to Dubarry. They are the most comfortable footwear ever; they clean up for lunch/supper at the local pub, they splash through puddles dog walking, I ride in them - basically live in them! Daughter bought them as Chrissie pressie 2006 and they are AMAZING! Problem is, she keeps nicking them herself and is now hinting a pair would make a lovely Chrissie pressie..........2007......for her.....

I have the galways to and have had my pair for 2 years now,i wear them for 3 hrs dog walking a day, down the yard, riding,in waitrose, out in town for shopping,so i practically live in them!!!!!
They have lasted so well and are looking worse for wear now,i'm gonna get another pair this year for best as mine arn't good enough to get away with going from the yard to lunch out with family/friends anymore! One boot is slightly leaky if you stand in a deep puddle but to be fair i have never actually used any leather products on them which is a bit stupid really as i really don't look after my things so it's my fault,i think maybe it's cos i know they could be easily replaced as my OH works on the estate wear Dubarry are based!!!!!!!!

I love the look of the cashels you have pictured, I was umming and ahhing between those and the ariat grassmeres and still am!!

Ive got the Galways. The quilty ones look nice but Im not sure I would want to do yard stuff in them. With the all leather ones I know I can put them under the hose and scrub if necessary - not sure the goretex would be up to that.

Then again it depends on how filthy you intend to be!
