Im off to Hartpury in september, and have decided it is time to give my Ariats a rest and use them for purely riding only as they have served me well for 5 years no breakage nothing, but they will give up the ghost if i continue to use them for EVERYTHING and not just riding which at Hartpury means they will get a real battering

anyhoo my birthday is not far off and was thinking of asking my family to pull together for me and get me a pair, but before i do, was wondering what their longevity is like and do they come up big, small or spot on size wise?

thankoooooo x

They are quite narrow in the leg, the Wexford fits me better. I take 6.5 in Dubarry Wexford whereas I am usually a 7, so they come up big. I expect the Galway would be the same if I could get them on!

Love love love mine, only had them since xmas but come up as new when I clean them...can't comment on longevity but other say they last well.

As Brightmount says, come up a tad big. A 5 fits snug on me usually but 5 in Dubarrys has room for thick socks, not that I need them

I was looking at these boots today, sales person advised if they were used for riding the garentee (sp) would be void, so was looking towards the Ariat Grasmere which were £25 cheeper, just made a post to what people think and good reports so far.

wouldnt be using them for riding, i would be getting them so i can retire my ariats for riding work only, rather than using them for everything as i do currently, because i dont want them to die on me lol
