Dubarry sizing

Hi

Could anyone tell me what the sizing is like for the Dubarry Galway boots please, I am looking at getting a pair but not sure what size to go for as I had a pair of Dublin river boots and had to go a size up and had a pair of toggi canyons and had to go down a size!
Any advice appreciated

I went down 1/2 a size. Usually wear a 5, but my Dubarrys are 4 1/2.

It's not the size you need to worry about with dubarry it's the quality!

The sole fell off mine. Dubarry were totally unhelpful. I paid for them to be sent back to Ireland and reapired. Sole fell off again within a few days. Rang dubarry they were really rude and not interested at all. Give me ariat any day

That's interesting I've only ever heard good things about them provided they have been looked after, I know many people that admit they have had trouble with them once they've stopped taking care of them, ie too much mucking out/wet/muddy weather etc

I've had my pair for about 7 years and they're still going strong, despite being abused daily! Wouldn't buy anything else to be honest.!

I love mine, had them 3 years and they still look and feel fantastic, but i'm normally a size 5, but got the 5 and half, I would definatley have another pair

True to Size my old pair are nearly 4 years old on their second set of soles still going strong, totally waterproof but they do need some care and attention but I cannot understand people who buy expensive boots and then just neglect them

I love my Dubarrys, had them a couple of years and they've been well abused but still working great. I find mine are very slightly on the smaller side, I cant wear thick socks in mine.

Agreed with landyandy I'm a 5.5 and mine are a 5. Sadly the quality isn't the same as they used to be, I get through a pair of boots a year now as I live in them and they get covered in horse, sheep pee etc! My first Dubarrys lasted 3 years. As long as I oil them occasionally they're fine! From experience don't pressure wash them as it wrecks them! They're probably one of the classiest boots on the market but I doubt I'd buy another pair!
