Dublin Chaps

last sunday Brandy escaped to the feed room and as there were only small children on the yard Christine sent me in after him as she had to deal with all the bookings. to got hold of Brandy, finnaly. but them he spotted the bad of carrots next to the open bag of mix. uh oh. well brandy pushed me backwards into the locker and i pulled my leg out of th gap between the locker and feed bin. 10 minutes later, my chaps fell off as the top of the zip (the bit that keeps the zipper on) had fallen off and my chaps were broken.

the thing is, on the bag for these chaps, it said, very durable and long lasting wear and tear. i worked out i have worn these chaps about 17 times!! this should not be happening i don't think.

mums taking them back to townfields to see what they say, have the receit (sp) and the guarantee that was in the bag, cleaned chaps as bes as i can, hopefully taking them back next week!

anybody else experienced this with their DUBLIN CHAPS??

p.s. i now have tyo ride with no chaps in the cold, but im gunna put my leg warmers on to keep warm

How is it defamatory? Her chaps broke and she's getting them changed. RL, perhaps you got a faulty pair. I'm sure Dublin will replace them

deflamatory because she mentions how they say they shouldnt brake they broke and a brand name

Stuff breaks. Someone mentioned their myler bit had broken mid ride and no one jumped on them for making a defamatory post.
I think RL was unfortunate enough to get a faulty pair of chaps and I'm sure she'll get them replaced; no harm done.

I think it will be difficult to get your money back as the guarantee will only be for manufacturing quality - not for accidental damage. Things will break if they are put under stress and they did not just fall apart - they were wrenched through a gap and broke.

i had a pair of chaps cant remember wether they were dublin but the second day i wore them the stitch at the zip just come apart and they were just recked! wasnt happy!

btw what does Deflamatory mean

the thing is they wernt under that much stress, just a little scrape, they had worse when i unfortunately had my leg dragged along a fence whilst cantering!

should this be happening to my chaps??
