One of our khaki Campbells hasn't started laying again this spring - she laid happily and regularly last summer - and I’ve just noticed that she’s developed a ‘drake’s tail’ curly feather. Obviously she’s not changing sex but does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this? The other five girls are all behaving completely normally, as are the two drakes. Our small animal vets don’t ‘do’ ducks and the farm vets don’t ‘do’ pets - I’ll take her there if I need to but I’d rather not stress her out if possible.
