Dumb Brown Beast!

I laid Snip's new wood pellet bed today (which so far I LOVE, looks fab, smells fab and can see how easy it should be to muck out!)

When I put him back in the stable he took one look at the bed, his eyes lit up, and he went diving in and took a massive mouthdul of pellets!!!

He very quickly realised that they were NOT pony nuts, and spat them out again, looking very disappointed!

That made me laugh!!! Poor ponio he thought all his christmases has come at once!!!

Mine did that with aubiose, which vaguely resembles small pony nuts! No where near as close as wood pellets though; your horse must have been very disappointed

I don't know why he thought they were pony nuts, heisnt FED pony nuts, or anything that resembles them! lol

I think he just assumes that everything has the potential to be food!
