ok, so i shall give this a whirl! Just trying to see if anyone knows of this horse. He was my sister's horse who we bought as a 4 year old 15 years ago. We sold him when my sister went to uni so this would have been in 1999/2000 I think (my memory is bad!). We sold him to a lady in Lincolnshire who was just going to hack him - we sold him specifically as a hack/hunt horse only as he got stressed showjumping and would rear.
She sold him on within a year (after some rearing incidents!!!) to a lady (still in Lincs) who bought him for endurance. We visited him at this home and he was very content (he hadn't been at the previous one as was kept alone and this wouldn't have suited him). The last we heard was a few years ago that he had been sold to a hunting home as the endurance lady injured herself so couldn't ride him.
I believe he was doing pretty well going back to hunting but would be interested to know how he is, if he's still about etc. He will be 19 now. i think it is likely he is still in the Lincs/S Yorks area. I will post a pic if anyone thinks they may know him. he has a narrow stripe down his face, a small white sock if I recall and was a very attractive, short-coupled with good bone TB. He was a lamb to deal with on the ground and fab in traffic etc just had a tendency to rear if put under too much pressure - ie showjumping, but was great xc and hunting.
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
