My horse is currently on shavings when in during the day (fat camp!!). Although i am quite happy with them I have noticed recently that the dust is starting to effect him so want to change to something dust free ASAP. Please could anyone suggest an alternative. I have looked at easibed - is it any good, or are there any other better alternatives??

Thanks

I use Nedz Bedz Original which is dust extracted and is working a treat on my horse on box rest - no coughing at all! Just had to move him into another stable for a couple of days whilst building work being done and that's got shavings in it, and I'm coughing my head off whilst mucking out - yeuch! Takes longer to muck out too. Nedz Bedz is only £5.50 a bale

This is the third time I have posted this but we have moved over to Equucel, a new paper pellet on the market. It has a little dust when sweeping the stable but apart from that it is excellent, no ammonia smell, great absorbency and we think it lasts 2-4 times longer than neds bedz and hemp which we used before. Really easy to clean and muck heap is much smaller now. Is anyone else using this or even heard of it?
