Dutch Warm Blood Breeding/Blood Lines

Hi wasn't sure where to put this post but as lots of you view New Lounge.......... My friend has a beautiful full dutch warm blood,imported 3 years ago. Does anyone know much about his breeding/bloodline - he is by Now or Never and his dam is called Isula. He is extremely exhuberant and amazing paces when he concentrates and works and she loves him to pieces. But he is extremely highly strung and can be hard to get his concentration. Has anyone got a horse with this breeding - what is their temperament like? Any information appreciated or advice welcomed.

Now or Never is well bred but I'm not much cop on bloodlines - try posting in the breeding forum, should have a bit more luck there. good luck!

My horse is by Equador out of Voltaire and is so chilled we think he is dead from the neck up.....however although he is a registered KWPN he is a half bred Appaloosa so maybe it is the Appaloosa temprament gene coming through.

Did reserach on Horses out of Equador (Voltaire) though and general feeling was that they were on the whole calm and chilled horses.

If you fancy a play with Babel FIsh (unless of course you speak Dutch) and I warn you it can make quite comical translation go to Bokt.nl it is the main forum in the Netherlands and do a search under Hengst Voltaire which will find posts from people with horses out of his bloodline. Or try the dutch Google.
