duvets...

What I do is put a cotton sheet on, then the duvet, then a rug over the top. Never had a problem with them slipping and you can have them up the neck as well.
 
i used to use them then i bought good rugs! they do well as a stop gap for a cold horse but a good well fitting rug of the right fill is more comfey for the horse and so much easier for the owner/carer

Really, as a 13.5 tog duvet is a lot lighter than a HW stable rug with neck ;)
 
They always seem so much faff to me, can't you just buy a under rug? You get decent cheap ones now.
Old y/o used to always use them on the horses, I don't think I ever saw one without it slippped back or twisted round ect.
