Hi all. I've never been a fan of the ear bonnet and always thought that the vast majority use them as a fashion accessory. But my little mare has very sensitive ears, particularly the right one which she will not allow me to touch at all (have a feeling she may have been ear twitched in the past) and she is very sensitive to flies around them. Yesterday when riding I think she got a fly in the particularly sensitive right ear, she shook her head madly so I jumped off and tried to have a look but she wouldn't let me look. Whatever it was seemed to shift and I got back on and we carried on all good. Thinking it might be an idea to get a ear bonnet to use when the flies are bad so which are the most comfortable and well fitting? Not interested in bling or fashion, don't want a loud colour, preferably brown or black but comfort is imperative. She's a 14.1 riding pony, part Oldenberg, part ISH so not got a tiny head. Cheers 😊

I'd got for one that has the least bulk and is also the smoothest under the bridle - some of the woven ones I wonder if they're painful/ annoying when under the bridle.
