Ear Plugs....

Ok im browzing pretty ponies website, and they sell earplugs for ponies.

Has anyone ever used these and do they work??

Our little pony is quite skitty, so im thinking we could try them when we take him out for the 1st couple of times and surely he'd be less jumpy.

I have known a few driving horses which benefited from the use of ear plugs in their early training, particularly when they were worried about noise behind them.

A well-known trainer near me uses tampons, slightly fluffed out (and dry) to good effect. The wee strings are handy for pulling them out too.

i used wads of cotton wool dyed with shoe polish on my sisters scatty show ponies! worked a treat so that hoofbeats in neighbouring rings/clapping/loudspeakers didnt bother them.
